PRP-Stem Cell-Ozone Therapy

What is the PRP Procedure?

PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) Therapy is a procedure where a sample of the patient’s own blood is processed via a special centrifugation to separate the platelet-rich plasma, which is then re-injected into the problematic area. Platelets are rich in growth factors and support the repair and regeneration of damaged tissues.

PRP is applied in clinical settings as a fast and reliable healing method, especially for joint and musculoskeletal problems. The procedure is performed only by specialist physicians under safe conditions.

How is the PRP Procedure Applied?

  1. A small amount of blood is drawn from the patient.
  2. The platelet-rich plasma is separated using a special centrifugation method.
  3. The prepared plasma is injected into the problematic area.

This method supports the repair, nourishment, and regeneration of tissues by locally activating growth factors.

The Use of PRP in Orthopedic Conditions

PRP therapy offers an effective solution for various orthopedic conditions:

Ligament and Tendon Injuries:

  • Anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) and medial collateral ligament (MCL) injuries
  • Acute or chronic muscle and tendon injuries
  • Ankle sprains

Cartilage and Bone Problems:

  • Joint calcification (Osteoarthritis)
  • Meniscus pathologies
  • Delayed fracture healing

Chronic Tendinitis:

  • Tennis elbow
  • Golfer’s elbow
  • Achilles tendinitis
  • Heel spur
  • Plantar fasciitis

Other Conditions Treatable with PRP:

  • Joint pain and rheumatism
  • Degenerative joint diseases
  • Non-healing wounds

What is Ozonated PRP (Ozonated Platelet Rich Plasma)?

Ozonated PRP is the form of PRP therapy enriched with ozone gas. Ozone rapidly activates the platelets, enabling the faster release of healing factors. This method supports both tissue regeneration and the rapid recovery of the problematic area.

Areas of Use:

  • Shoulder pain and tendon tears
  • Knee cruciate ligament injuries
  • Joint calcification (Osteoarthritis)
  • Tennis elbow and heel spurs

Ozonated PRP Application Process

  1. 8-10 cc of blood taken from the patient is processed in special tubes.
  2. Approximately 3 cc of platelet-rich plasma is mixed with ozone gas.
  3. The prepared mixture is injected into the problematic area.

Benefits of PRP and Ozonated PRP

  • Pain Management: Alleviates joint and muscle pain.
  • Tissue Repair and Regeneration: Supports healing thanks to growth factors.
  • Improves Muscle and Joint Function: Increases muscle strength and joint mobility.
  • Rapid Recovery: Shortens the healing time for sports and traumatic injuries.
  • Safe and Non-invasive: Side effects are minimal, and discomfort during treatment is generally absent.

PRP and Ozonated PRP treatments are reliable, scientifically supported, and clinically effective methods for musculoskeletal system problems, tendon and ligament injuries, osteoarthritis, and chronic pain. The treatments are applied under the supervision of specialist physicians and the orthopedic rehabilitation team and aim to increase the patients’ quality of life.
